GARCON POINT BRIDGE TOLLS SUSPENDED AGAIN

The Florida Department of Transportation says the toll suspension on the Garcon Point Bridge has been extended to February 11^th. The Bridge has served as the main artery between Escambia County and southwestern Santa Rosa County since the Pensacola Bay Bridge was damaged by construction barges that broke loose during Hurricane Sally last September. The Bay Bridge is expected to be closed for repairs until at least mid-March. The latest toll suspension has been extended to February 11^th.
