The Florida Department of Health has announced that only residents will be allowed to get the COVID-19 vaccine in Florida. Before this announcement, anyone who was in Florida could get a vaccine because showing proof of residence wasn’t required. As a result, out-of-state residents have been traveling to Florida to get the COVID-19 vaccine. From now on residents will only be eligible to receive vaccines in Florida.
