CANTONMENT FATAL SHOOTING

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened yesterday afternoon in Cantonment just after 2 p.m. in the 2900 block of Lawson Lane off Jacks Branch Road. The adult male victim died from his injuries and a male and a female were arested. The female suspect was taken into custody at a convenience store on Muscogee Road near Jacks Branch Road and the male suspect a short time later in a nearby wooded area off Muscogee Road. The Sheriff’s Office said the shooting appeared to be domestic violence related.
