FORT WALTON BEACH FATAL SHOOTING

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that happened Tuesday night in the Lovejoy Road area. The victim was identified as 44-year-old Nancy Schreiner of Fort Walton Beach and she was found was found in the roadway near the intersection of Marler Street and Shirley Drive around 9:45 p.m. with a gunshot wound in the chest. Deputies say dozens of bullets had been fired from multiple weapons striking at least three vehicles and several homes were, but there were no other reports of injuries.
