OKLAOOSA COUNTY TRAFFIC FATALITY

The Florida Highway Patrol said a 28-year-old Fort Walton Beach man was killed in a traffic accident Monday morning on Highway 98. Troopers say the crash happened around 6:20 a.m. on Highway 98 at Mary Street when the man lost control of his vehicle, crossed the median and collided with a vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Fort Walton Beach woman. The man died in the crash, while the woman suffered serious injuries.
