ECUA SEWAGE OVERFLOW

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority says there was a 5,200 gallon sewage overflow on West Roberts Road in Cantonment due to a broken six-inch main that was damaged by a utility contractor. 3,500 gallons were recovered by vacuum truck and transported to an ECUA water reclamation facility for proper disposal and treatment. There was another overflow on Wednesday, February 17th estimated at 19,500 gallons, in the same area. 15,000 gallons were recovered by vacuum truck.
