ECUA SEWAGE OVERFLOW

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority says there was a 5,200 gallon sewage overflow on West Roberts Road in Cantonment due to a broken six-inch main that was damaged by a utility contractor. 3,500 gallons were recovered by vacuum truck and transported to an ECUA water reclamation facility for proper disposal and treatment. There was another overflow on Wednesday, February 17^th estimated at 19,500 gallons, in the same area. 15,000 gallons were recovered by vacuum truck.
