PROPOSED TRAFFIC LIGHT AT 1-10 AND HIGHWAY 87

Changes are on the way for the intersection of Interstate 10 and Highway 87 in Santa Rosa County. Drivers say the I-10 bridge pillars can make it more difficult to have a clear line of vision pulling out onto Highway 87 from the interstate off-ramp. The additional traffic in the area because of the damage to the Pensacola Bay Bridge has added to the problem. The Florida Department of Transportation says the area does warrant a traffic signal and the project is a top priority.
