Governor Rick Scott and First Lady Ann Scott have invited all Florida students to participate in the annual Hispanic Heritage Month art and essay contests. Three Florida students will have the opportunity to earn  4-year Florida prepaid scholarships. This year’s contest will be featured around the theme “A Celebration of Innovative Hispanic-American Leaders.” Participating students in grades K-3 have a chance to win a cash prize by submitting their best artwork. Students in grades 4-12 can earn a 4- year Florida prepaid scholarship through the essay contest. All entries must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Time on Monday, October 15, 2018.
