The City of Pensacola and ST Engineering have come to an agreement about the planned 210 million dollar maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at the Pensacola International Airport. ST Engineering has agreed to invest 35 million dollars into the project which will create 1,325 new jobs in addition to 400 jobs planned for the already operating maintenance hangar. The agreement was signed in Singapore between Mayor Ashton Hayward and ST Engineering’s VT Systems CEO retired U.S. Army Gen. John Coburn. Also present at the signing were Escambia County Commission Chairman Jeff Bergosh and FloridaWest CEO Scott Luth.
