Fort Walton Beach Police say s 44-year-old woman was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds inside the Captains Quarters Apartments yesterday. Police responded to a call of a shooting just before 2a.m. When officers arrived they found Vonda M. Browne dead. Fort Walton Beach Police confirmed that Khalil Rashad is considered a person of interest in the shooting death and he has also been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
