Pensacola Police say the president of a local non-profit president has been arrested after being accused of beating a woman. Police were called to Sacred Heart Hospital after a nurse reported she heard a man hit a woman during an argument. The victim told police 36-year-old Shaun Hartsfield hit her and took her phone, threw it on the floor and stomped on it. Hartsfield is the founder and president of HYPE Pensacola – a local non-profit that offers students in grades 9 through 12 academic classes that will help better prepare them for life after high school. He was arrested on a charge of battery.
