The Florida Department of Transportation says the planned traffic switch to the new Pensacola Bay Bridge has been postponed again. Eastbound traffic was originally scheduled to shift to the new bridge starting yesterday evening and westbound traffic was to shift over on Thursday. FDOT spokesman Ian Satter said contractors could not finish the work on time and no new dates for the traffic switch have been announced. The 400 million-dollar Pensacola Bay Bridge replacement project is the largest infrastructure project in the history of Northwest Florida.
