PENSACOLA TWO-WAY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL

The city of Pensacola wants to turn the one-way portions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and North Davis Highway back to two-way streets. Both were two-way roads before Interstate 110 was built. Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson suggested the change, and the Pensacola City Council, sitting as the Community Redevelopment Agency, unanimously supported asking the Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization and FDOT to prioritize converting the roads to two-way traffic flow.
