HEART ATTACK VICTIM SAVED

Two NAS Whiting Field employees are being credited with saving the life of a man who had suffered a heart attack back on October 30th.  Chief Aviation Boatswains Mate Shane Ammons and Whiting Field Patrolman Douglas Waller, were at the 210th Branch Fleet Reserve Association in Milton when a woman asked for someone who knew how to do CPR. They found a man unconscious in the driver’s seat of his truck and began CPR. Arriving paramedics said the man had suffered a heart attack and that their actions saved his life.
