CORONAVIRUS SUPPLIES SELLING FAST

Supplies of hand sanitizer and face masks are going fast at local stores and pharmacies in northwest Florida because of fears about the Coronavirus. Many stores have had to back-order face masks even though the U.S. Surgeon General has warned that masks are not very effective in preventing the virus. The Center for Disease Control says washing for 20 seconds with soap and water will also help prevent the disease along with covering coughs. School Superintendents in Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties have all said they will operate in compliance with the recommendations by the departments of education and health in Florida.
