Panama City underground utility crews made a gruesome discovery yesterday. Human skeletal remains were found in a sewer near the intersection of 3rd Street and Gray Avenue. Crews were responding to a report of a sewer blockage when they found what appeared to be skeletal remains. The Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the bones are human. The sewer is across the street from the Millville Cemetery and the remains may be connected to the cemetery. Panama City Police are investigating.
