The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village sign on Highway 98 in Destin was vandalized Monday night. A library employee noticed that graffiti had been spray-painted on the sign. Catherine Card, the city’s public information manager, said it was the first time the sign had been vandalized. City staffers tried to remove the graffiti but were unsuccessful, and the sign was replaced.
