Voter turnout for the Presidential Primary in both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties was less than the 2016 primary. Turnout in Escambia County was down by almost 18% with just 31.11% of registered voters participating. Turnout in Santa Rosa County was down by 26% Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David Stafford said he thought concerns about the coronavirus was having an impact on turnout.
