Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Friday ordering all restaurants and food establishments within the state to suspend on-premises food and alcohol consumption. However, restaurants may still provide delivery and take-out services. The order will allow a specially licensed food service establishment to sell package sales of alcohol for delivery or take-out. Proper identification will be required for orders that include alcohol. The Executive Order also requires the closures of gyms and fitness centers within Florida. Establishments that do not comply with the Governor’s order may face license suspensions. The executive order runs until April 16th.
