Two new coronavirus testing sites will begin operation in Okaloosa and Bay counties. The testing center in Destin will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, at the Destin Medical Park on Emerald Coast Parkway. In Bay County swab tests will be provided from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ascension Medical Group’s office on Ohio Avenue in Lynn Haven. Testing will be provided at no cost, but those wishing to be tested must first be screened over the phone by calling (850) 746-2684. A priority will be the testing of healthcare facility workers and first responders with symptoms and those people at highest risk for life-threatening complications from the virus.
