The Navy’s Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration teams will go on a multi-city joint tour over the next few weeks to be called “Operation America Strong.” The joint performances are being done to lift American spirits during the coronavirus pandemic. Flyovers are intended to be viewed from home, work and by media coverage, but will not take place as traditional air shows. This is the first time the two teams have joined forces since April of 2017. More information on timing and locations will be announced soon.
