The Florida Department of Health issued a Public Health Advisory calling for everyone in the state to wear a face mask because of the increased COVID-19 cases in the state. Exceptions were for children under two years of age – those with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from wearing a face covering – those who have to temporarily remove masks to perform a service or who work in a profession where a mask is not compatible with the duties of the profession – or an individual engaged in outdoor work or recreation with appropriate social distancing.
