HOSPITALS HALT VISITATIONS

Starting today Ascension Sacred Heart and Baptist hospitals have again instituted a no visitors policy because of the spread of COVID-19. Both hospitals will allow some exceptions which include allowing parents or guardians visiting pediatric and neonatal patients, one partner for women giving birth, and visitors for patients receiving end-of-life care. All authorized visitors must be at least 18 years of age, wear a mask, be screened and have a temperature check. West Florida Hospital has stopped elective surgeries to increase hospital bed capacity.
