The Escambia County School District says only 34% of parents chose the Traditional Learning option when students return to class in August. 31% opted for Remote Learning and 9% chose the Virtual option. 26% did not make a selection which means those students could be placed in the Traditional Learning option. Because so many parents chose the remote learning option, the school district has delayed the start of school until August 24th to better prepare.
