The Community Maritime Park Board has extended an invitation to Quint Studer to resume negotiations on his proposal to build a multimillion dollar teaching facility and convention center at the Maritime Park in partnership with the University of West Florida. The Community Maritime Park Associates’ Board of Trustees on Wednesday voted to approve 24 changes to the proposal that were recommended by the City Council. On July 23rd Studer said he was withdrawing the proposal. His lawyer, Scott Remington, said the Studers appreciated the invitation, but they would not be returning to negotiate with the CMPA.
