GULF POWER CREWS – HURRICANE MATTHEW 10-10-16

Gulf Power says crews are deploying to help restore power to areas affected by Hurricane Matthew. A 76-person storm team departed Saturday morning to Georgia to aid crews in storm restoration. A team is also available to travel to affected areas in Florida if needed. This is the second time in six weeks that Gulf Power crews have been deployed to help in storm restoration. Over the Labor Day weekend, crews were dispatched to Georgia and Tallahassee following the destruction caused by Hurricane Hermine and helped restore power to more than 100,000 residents.
