RESIDENTIAL FIRE 12-12-16

Escambia Fire Rescue reports a home in Beulah in West Escambia County was destroyed by a fire early yesterday morning. Firefighters responded to the report of the blaze in the 8900 block of Mobile Highway around 4:30am. The fire may have started in the ceiling and one firefighter was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment of heat-related fatigue. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
