More than 5,000 Gulf Power customers were reported without power following yesterday’s severe storms. They included about 1,000 people in Escambia County, 550 in Santa Rosa County, and about 1200 in Okaloosa County. The weather was similar to what occurred on New Year’s Day with tress and power lines downed, and damage to roofs, fences, and out-buildings.
