BLACK BEAR AND CUBS CAPTURED 2-1-17

Florida Wildlife officials believe they’ve captured the bear that attacked a Gulf Breeze man and his dog Monday night. Rick Wilkerson and his Labrador Retriever were injured when they encountered a mother bear and her three cubs. They’re expected to be OK. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said they had to euthanize the bear and they are working to relocate the three yearling cubs.
