PROPOSED RAWSON LANE CLOSURE 2-8-17

Escambia County is seeking public input about closing Rawson Lane. For years, Pensacola Christian College has asked for ownership of the road that runs north and south between Airport Boulevard and Brent Lane, so that they can build a dormitory and improve student safety. But many people who use the road to avoid traffic from the nearby interstate object to closing the road to public traffic. People may submit their opinion on the issue until March 1st. The issue will be heard at the Escambia County Commission meeting in April.
