The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says one person has been arrested and another hospitalized after a shooting yesterday morning in Gulf Breeze. Sheriff’s Department Spokesman Sergeant Rich Aloy said the shooting occurred around 11am on Clear Lake Place. 67-year-old Nolen Childers has been charged with attempted second-degree murder after authorities said he fired three shots at his 68-year-old neighbor, Ralph Amickm who was transported to Baptist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s Office say an argument that started over Amick’s wife led to the shooting. Childers was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail.
