Law Enforcement officers from Florida and Alabama are searching for a truck driver who tried to run a State law enforcement officer off the road. It happened Tuesday around 10:45 a.m. on Interstate 10. The Florida Highway Patrol said when a commercial vehicle failed to stop at the weigh scales and a Florida Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer pursued the vehicle. The driver failed to stop and twice swerved at the officer’s vehicle, but lost control of his truck and ran off the road. The driver, described only as a white male, ran into the woods. A K-9 from the Baldwin County Alabama Sheriff’s Office assisted with the search, but the suspect was not found.
