COUNTY FIRE CHIEF FIRING

There is more information about the dismissal of Escambia County Fire Chief Patrick Grace. Escambia County Administrator Jack Brown has released a 600-page internal affairs investigation report detailing in allegations of sexual harassment, racial discrimination, falsifying documents and bullying directed towards the county’s first full-time female firefighter. As a result, Escambia County Fire Chief Patrick Grace was relieved of his duties. In addition, Lieutenant Joseph Martin was issued a letter of reprimand and firefighter Christopher Watson was dismissed. Deputy Chief Paul Williams has been named interim chief while a search is conducted to find a new fire chief.
