The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said a 41-year-old Pensacola man was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Highway 98 yesterday morning. Investigators said Alfred Trimble Jr. was crossing Highway 98 near the intersection at Stahlman Avenue just after 3:45 a.m. when he was hit by a commercial truck. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
