A Mobile police officer was shot and killed last night. Mobile Police Chief Lawrence Battiste identified him as Officer Justin Billa. He also identified the suspect as Robert Hollie who is also dead. It is not known if he died from a self-inflicted or by police action. Officials say SWAT teams arrived on the scene around 12:30 a.m. The shooting suspect is also connected to a woman’s body found Tuesday evening on West Ridge Road, according to an email sent to city officials by the Mobile Police Department. The woman’s daughter said she believes her mother’s ex-husband, Robert Hollie was the person barricaded in the home. The investigation is on-going.
