LAWSUIT AGAINST UNDERHILL DSISMISSED

The lawsuit filed against Escambia County Commissioner Doug Underhill by former County Commissioner Gene Valentino’s, has been dismissed. Valentino filed a libel lawsuit last July against Underhill and Ray Guillory, a 2014 Democratic candidate for County Commission  alleging that Guillory accused Valentino of engaging in affairs and marital infidelities. Valentino decided to drop the lawsuit and his attorney filed a request to have the case dismissed with prejudice, which was accepted by the Florida First Circuit Court on Monday.
