DELAYED TRAFFIC FATALITY

The Florida Highway Patrol says a 63-year-old Pensacola man has died after being hit by a pickup last week. It happened Wednesday, February 28th on Michigan Avenue, just east of Memphis Avenue, around 8:40 p.m. Troopers say Raymond Murphy Jr. was hit by the pickup driven by 22-year-old Marcus Scott and was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital with severe injuries. Murphy died Friday. Charges are pending.
