PANAMA CITY BEACH POLICE OFFICER ARRESTED

A 48-year-old Panama City Beach Police officer has been arrested for pulling his service weapon on an unarmed citizen outside a bowling alley back on March 2nd. Witnesses reported seeing Corporal Scott Womack, pull his service weapon during a dispute with an unidentified man, then flee the scene. A warrant was issued and Womack turned himself in and was booked on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
