HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT IMPROVING

A Pine Forest High School student who collapsed during a basketball practice is improving. Jaylen Clausell, a sophomore, is being treated at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville after he went into cardiac arrest during basketball practice six days ago. His mother said he has been removed from life support and is able to sit up and talk. She said her son was on life support for five days. She said doctors plan to keep him in the hospital for five more days while the family waits for test results.
