HOTEL RELOCATION

The plan to move the112-year-old, wood-framed Gulfview Hotel in Fort Walton Beach, is set for next week. The relocation of the two-story, 5,500-square-foot building by Ducky Johnson House Movers of Marianna is planned to start at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17^th, and take at least three hours. Part of First Street between Beal and Eglin parkways will be restricted to local traffic only and Highway 98 will be closed between Beal Parkway and Florida Place. Traffic should be moving freely again by 5am Wednesday morning.
