TRAIN-RELATED INJURY MAY BE SUICIDE ATTEMPT

Pensacola Police say the incident involving a pedestrian who was hit by a train Monday morning near Bay Bluffs Park was likely a suicide attempt. The woman, whose identity has not been released, suffered severe head and arm injuries and was taken to the hospital via trauma alert. Pensacola Police Department spokesman Mike Wood said the woman is still in the hospital, recovering from her injuries.
