POSSIBLE ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION

A Santa Rosa County mother said an attempt may have been made to abduct her 3-year-old son from their front yard. Jody Baker said she heard her son talking to a man who she thought was their neighbor – but he wasn’t. She said at that moment her neighbor called and said there was a man in a white van who almost had her son. The neighbor described him as a white male with dirty blonde hair. The little boy told his mom the man called him over and offered him a toy. When the man spotted the neighbor watching he left. The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
