CRESTVIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT FOLLOW-UP

Crestview Mayor David Cradle has named police department Commander Jamie Grant as acting Police Chief to replace suspended Chief Tony Taylor. Grant has been with the police department since 1991. He will be assisted by Deputy Police Chief Rick Brown and Commander Andrew Schneider. Taylor was placed on leave with pay pending an investigation into employee regulations, polices and procedures. Neither the mayor nor the police department had any further comment on the matter.
