MEXICO BEACH TRAFFIC FATALITY

The Florida Highway Patrol says a Port St. Joe man was killed in a head-on wreck on Highway 98 in Mexico Beach on Saturday. Troopers say the 61-year-old man – whose name has not yet been released – was driving his pickup west on Highway 98 at 19^th Street about 2:15pm when he crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an S.U.V. driven by 41-year-old Rachel Bundy of Panama City who also had a 12-year-old passenger, but neither were injured. The driver of the pickup was taken to Sacred Heart on the Gulf in Port St. Joe where he died from his injuries. The investigation is still continuing.
