PANAMA CITY DEATH INVESTIGATION

The Panama City Police Department says they are not seeking any suspects in connection with the discovery of a woman’s body last week at the Panama City Marina. The body of 69-year-old Cathy Almond, of Panama City was found floating in the water just before 5pm on June 19th near the marina. Police said they did not suspect foul play and her death was self-inflicted. However, the case remains under investigation, pending results from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
