CHILD NEGLECT ARREST

A 32-year-old Pensacola woman is facing a child neglect charge after a child was found in her vehicle that had drugs and needles in it. An Escambia County Sheriff’s deputy approached Nikki Porter’s car for a parking violation and she said she didn’t have any identification on her, then gave a false name and date of birth. It turned out a passenger in the car – Johnathan Dubuque – was wanted on an outstanding narcotics warrant from Mississippi. The deputy also found multiple syringes and two baggies of methamphetamine. Porter was charged with child neglect, drug possession, drug equipment possession and fraud and was booked into the Escambia County Jail on a $7,000 bond.
