Beginning tomorrow Supervisors of Elections in Florida will begin processing applications from previously ineligible voters with felony convictions. The Voting Restoration Amendment was approved by voters in the 2018 general election and restores voting rights of Floridians with felony convictions after they complete all terms of their sentence including parole or probation. The amendment does not apply to those convicted of murder or sexual offenses. Voters who have previously lost their voting rights due to a felony conviction, but are now eligible to vote must submit a new voter registration application.
