ECUA BOARD MEMBER DIES

Emerald Coast Utilities Authority board member Elvin McCorvey, passed away on Sunday. McCorvey served on the ECUA board since 1996 and worked for 36 years in the Escambia County School District. He was 74. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mount Olive Baptist Church at 500 North Davis Street. His funeral will be held Saturday, January 26, at noon at the same church with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
