BLUE ANGEL EMERGENCY LANDING

A Blue Angels pilot had to make an emergency landing yesterday at Naval Air Facility El Centro in California where the Blues hold their winter training. The Navy says the F/A-18 Hornet’s landing gear didn’t deploy correctly, but the pilot was able to land the jet safely. It’s not yet clear what caused the problem or which pilot was involved.
