MAN CRASHES FENCE AT PENSACOLA AIRPORT

Pensacola Police arrested a man after he drove through a fence and onto an active runway at the Pensacola International Airport yesterday. Police said Zane Carlson drove through the fence between the passenger terminal and Heliworks just before 1pm, drove onto an active runway and then into a grassy area, where he did doughnuts in his car, and then drove into an open hangar near Jerry L. Maygarden Road, where he continued to do doughnuts inside the hangar until police apprehended him. Carlson was booked into the Escambia County Jail on a variety of charges.
